Hi guys,

I've got the PDF service manual for the quad but im looking for the user manual the describes how to use the quad.

I know it sounds daft but I have loads of questions like:
Why do I have the option to turn the fan off?
Do I need to let the revs drop before changing gear?
Can I shift to 4WD (from 2WD) whilst moving, the same for diff lock?
Can I shift between high, low and super low when driving?

Many thanks

My manual isn't for a king quad, but it says not to shift between high/low and 4x4 while driving due to the risk of sudden speed changes. Just make sure the engine is at idle when moving the shifters and you will be fine.
You do want to let the revs drop when changing gears if they are high, this isn't specific to this quad, it's with any transmission with a clutch.
Basically, just move the shifter up and hold it there till the revs drop to a comfortable level, then let it back down.
Many people don't realize with a semi auto transmission like these have, it does have a standard clutch like a stick shift car (in addition to the centrifugal clutch) moving the lever up or down disengages the clutch at the same time it shifts to the next gear, and it stays disengaged for as long as you hold the lever up or down, then letting the lever return to the center re-engages the clutch.
