I'm hoping someone can provide some help on how to remove my crankcase cover. I removed all the bolts, have tried gently hammering on it, but so far no movement. I need to replace the starter gear bearing and this cover needs to come off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a 1999 Suzuki Quadrunner 250. Thanks in advance, Dean.

Did you get the bolt that goes through the frame out?

TBR, Thanks for replying. I took the bolt out in the middle of the cover....it was still in on the photo I attached...but still, the cover isn't coming off. Is this the bolt you meant?

There is a motor mount bolt that goes through the frame around the 7-8 O'clock area.

Thanks for the response......I have that removed, but can't get access to the cover near that area. A friend is supposed to bring me some bars that may help in splitting it in that area. My hunch is that the dowels are corroded and they are preventing removal. I'm going to try a bit more and if no luck, take it to a shop.
