GUYS PLEASE DON'T START WORLD WAR THREE
Now that that's out of the way I recently bought a 04 ltz 400. The kid who had it before me flat track raced it was pretty good too. I asked him about the quad and he said that he raced built 450s and beat them as well as raptors. I asked about a stock 450 and he said he smoked them. He had this quad for a long time and raced a lot so he's not just coming up with this. I don't have the ability to race or try to compare at the moment with anyone I'm in the city. I was interested could my quad beat a stock Honda 450 in sand, flat track, or dirt. If not what could I logically add to make it competition-worthy?
My quad has a stock but jetted carb with no airbox lid the kid rebuilt the motor it has 13.5/1 compression I have all three sprockets 13,14,15 and a 40 in the back. Lexx mxe exhaust and pro circuit head pipe. Big gun rev box. I run it strictly on 92 non-ethanol I never abused her or anything pristine condition and all on top of maintenance.
Again guys please don't bash either quad and keep looks out as well as rider experience or feel although that is a big factor. I'm talking performance so give me your thoughts.
