I have a 2004 Suzuki eiger 400 4x4. Was starting home after a long day riding. Had to fuel up. Shortly after fueling my machine the exhaust turned cherry red, then would bog completely down when I tried to give it throttle. Finally it wouldn't run at all. Bad gas? Stuck valve? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Typically a red or cherry red exhaust signifies a lean running condition, (Not Enough Fuel). Sounds like you may need to adjust or remove the carb and give it a good cleaning.
