Wow, i guess theres not a lot goin on in this area. Hopefully someone can answer my question. Ive got an 87 lt250R with a bad rear shock, i was wondering if anyone out there knew how close the newer 450R rear shock was to fitting. Id be happy to do some fabrication if its close. Anyone know how close they are to fitting or know where i can find out? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the TRX 250r and TRX 450r can interchange alot of parts like the shocks. But I don't know about TRX 450r and LT250r.

Or are you talking about the Lt-r450?

Have you looked into Elka Shocks. They build the shocks specifically for your machine. The prices are rather reasonable as well.
