Yes, you are correct. Fuel will gravity feed. No engine vacuum is required.

Yes, as John mentioned Prime (Pri) is gravity fed. In this setting fuel will flow regardless of if the engine is running or not. Therefore it is crucial that you don’t leave the fuel petcock in the Pri position whenever the engine isn’t running as doing so will lead to oil contamination. So it is imperative you return the valve on the fuel petcock from Pri back to On whenever the engine isn’t running as On still acts as fuel shut off.

Has anyone tried to adapt a pz30 carbuerator onto the 300 king quad,and leave it on prime when riding it, and on when thru riding it?
