I bought a new factory one-way clutch bearing for my 99 LT-F300F. The manual is no good. Does anyone know for sure which side goes into the clutch. (which side should you be able to see once inserted)
Cheers

To answer my own question. The side with the green dot (and NO arrow) faces out. I installed the one-way and a new inner race. end of problems. Couldn't believe how messed up the machine was until these were replaced.

Dang, I would have guessed the print would be facing outward.

...and you would be taking it apart again. Best test is when assembled, you should be able to turn the clutch drum CCW and not CW. Then you can bolt the clutch cover back on.
