Just picked up a non running LT50 four wheeler for a little of nothing. Looks to be a mid 80's model. Bike turns over with plenty of compression and has good spark. When I was checking it out, I noticed the hose from the oil tank going to the carb is gone. This made me think that maybe someone tried to put straight gas in it and try to start it. I have not messed with 2 stroke bikes much and was wondering what this would do if this happened. I know it will ruin the engine, but will it lock it up, or just ruin some internal parts?

the oil injector is set up to drip oil in to the head/carb at the proper rate to keep the motor lubed. by removing the injector and blocking it off or removing the metering wheel you will gain a little power when using PRE-MIX gas. my boy has an 02 LTA-50 and I removed the oil injector, the restrictors in the intake, exhaust, and air filter. gives the little squirt enough power to pull me at 240lbs around and even up a small incline. there are a couple companies making exhaust but only CT racings stuff looks like the power VS. cost factor is worth it.
