well, after alot of thought on this , i am thinking of putting a light weight oil in this shock strut, filling it about half way and then setting the coil spring bout half way up. then maybe 10 lbs of an air charge on the cylinder.
any thoughts???

I'd love to help you out with this but unfortunately I'm not at all familiar with this set up.

I believe, but do not quote me. But I think that particular shock has 100+ psi and needs a nitrogen charge. Your local ATV shop should have tools to rebuild..
