I have a 20 year old + KingQuad 700 it runs pretty good. A person at my local ATV club said there is an upgrade I should do that would help my 700 KQ run and idle even better. He said Suzuki FI tips have only
4 open potholes feeding the cylinder. He explained the Kawasaki uses a 12 open pothole injector into their 750 engine. He explained Kawasaki‘s fuel injector will fit a Suzuki with no modifications or reprogramming of the FI said that the 12 port tip provides better fuel atomization for more complete combustion while improving fuel economy slightly with improved drivability and lower emissions.
Like anything that seems to good to be true I thought I‘d run this by the group and see if anyone had any feedback or experiences on making the change from 4 hole to a 12 porthole fuel injector.
I own a Kawasaki C14 motorcycle w FI that is exceptionally smooth in its power delivery.
Anyone in our group with experience making this change to their KQ?
