Hi guys,

I'm new here so hi to everyone. I've been reading lots of informative posts but now have a question of my own.

I have acquired a 2001 KQ300 and am halfway through fixing the rear left wheeloside UJ as the rear end was cracking and I believed it to be this.

Im waiting on the UJ to turn up before I can replace it, never did it before and what a b1tch it was to get out! I've now polished the burs off so hopefully the new one that turns up tomorrow should be the right size and slides in easily.

However there was no boot over the outside UJs, is that normal?

Thanks in advance

You will be wasting your time....Those yokes are toast ( all out of round )

Correct....There is no boot on the outside.

The yokes are good, I think it might just be the photos making them look out of round. Measured with calibers at multiple points they're all near enough 20mm (+/-0.05mm)

Or do you mean the Yoke Y shape arms no longer look parallel (something I haven't yet checked)

The holes
I see what you are talking abut now.....the yoke bevels in making it look lopsided.
