How much better is the new King Quad compared to the 2018. I have a really good lead on a 2018 ($4000 less for the 2018) and both are new machines. Any thoughts?

There are a quite a few upgrades on the 2019. https://dirtwheelsmag.com/first-test-2019-suzuki-kingquad-750axi/ The prices on new KingQuads seem very good around here. I just bought a 2020 Bronze 750 SE for $7890 + sales tax and license.

$4000 is a lot of money. If the 2018 has power steering and is in great shape, that would seem like the way to go. Personally, I would avoid a KingQuad without power steering.

Something to think about, all the upgrades added almost 100 lbs to the weight of the machine. At 672 lbs it puts it up there with the Polaris and Honda weight class. I believe the previous weight was 590 lbs.

Suzuki has been the lightest machines in their class, but it looks like they are adding weight. Still lighter than the CanAms. Tougher than the Polaris.

I think the weight increases for the KingQuad 750s from 2018 to 2019 was 40-50 pounds, depending on the options. Suzuki lists the curb weight on the updated 750 SEs as 721 pounds.

Polaris advertises dry weight not curb weight. My 850 Sportsman was well over 800 pounds with fluids.

Take it from a guy who had a NEW 2017 750 Rugged Edition, AND now have the 2019 750 SE (white).

the 19 is a WHOLE new machine in every way. I loved my 17 for sure but this 19 has way more snappy and snotty power, a much stronger engine brake ( very important to me), a better ride (how can THAT be?!) and more but those are the big differences to me.
I had 4 brand new Grizzlies including the all new 16 when it came out, and these KQ are the bomb. I wont say a bad word about the Grizzlies but I much prefer the KQ and this 19 is superb.
