I think it goes right behind the front cover. It fits right there and goes together well and is fairly easy to turn the valve.Sorry I don't. I'd have to take one apart. Off the top of my head it'd be cover, spring, diaphragm, big washer, assorted fiddly bits, body of valve. Haven't opened one up yet so I really can't say. Look at the body and see.if there's a groove machined for the fat one.
So there is a back cover which has spring, diaphragm and that all. The the front cover, that washer that broke handle of valve, o ring, rubber smiley gasket inside body. That's what I think.I think it goes right behind the front cover. It fits right there and goes together well and is fairly easy to turn the valve.
Thanks but I put it together right last night, and I've seen several e exploded views this morning. Type in petcock exploded view in Google and several will pop up. There was enough to see that that washer was a pressure washer. That pressure washer goes on the outside of the valve next to the plate that is labeled reserve prime and fuel. It puts pressure holding the twist valve which has an o-ring on it and seals. That is the correct order. I did it right last night. And this morning I found an exploded view that showed how many of them are put together. So that pressure washer which applies even pressure around the valve to seal the o-ring which sits behind the valve inside the body. I appreciate everyone's help. I do maintenance repair all the time I hate this happen. And if any good comes out of it it'll be that something was washed out of my engine that shouldn't have been in there if that's possible. I sure hope I didn't wash out the piston rings so bad that they scored the cylinder. My buddy that's an excellent mechanic all the way around but also a excellent motorcycle mechanic said I should be good to go after the oil change. I'll do two just to be safe. I'll try to post and exploded view that may help someone else also. I appreciate this forum and especially you men that offered information which helped immensely. We're going to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen today, but I'll go out and take one apart later for you. Get some pictures up.

Thanks foot006 and hardwood and everyone elseSo this picture is not of the exact that got that goes in the 2001 300 ltf four-wheel drive. But, it shows the pressure washer we chose the order of assembly would be screws, faceplate, pressure washer, cock lever and bonnet combined on our model, Big o ring behind bonnet which seals in the body, then fuel cock gasket. From the back side of the petcock the order would be five screws, back plate, spring, diaphragm. I hope this helps someone else. There's a piece of wisdom that teaches that all things work together for good. I wanted to leave a little help for the next guy. If for some reason someone gets confused and needs help just message me through the forum and I'll try to help you.

What’s up with all the time in the kitchen today? Is it because of St. Patricks Day?We're going to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen today, but I'll go out and take one apart later for you. Get some pictures up.
We’ve currently getting a huge snow storm. I’m currently at work then have to do some more work after I’m done shovelling and snowblowing the yard. Can’t wait for summer. The cakes are baking! Beats the rainy, snow melting mess outside.
Bet ya missed a work. 😀We’ve currently getting a huge snow storm. I’m currently at work then have to do some more work after I’m done shovelling and snowblowing the yard. Can’t wait for summer.
Summer comes when for you AJ? July ? Then winter in September? Lol. We need to move you about 1,000 miles south my friend. We’ve currently getting a huge snow storm. I’m currently at work then have to do some more work after I’m done shovelling and snowblowing the yard. Can’t wait for summer.

Usually by mid April our spring weather is starting to roll around. Then by the start of May the winter tires come off the vehicles and I start hitting the trails with the KQ. Though I’m usually having to go through snow that hasn’t melted yet in the shady areas. Though I got stuck last spring with the wife trying to cross a deep patch. Tried to plow through it but I ended up getting hung up on the skid plate with all four wheels spinning, lol. Not a huge deal as I had a few trees that I could winch myself to. Though I’m curious to see the difference when going through those snow patches with the HTR’s. Really want to try them out it’s not even funny. So yeah, basically our summers at least for us camping wise start in July. June is a nice time a year as well to go riding. But spending time in the bush is next to impossible as June is also crazy black flies month. It’s so unbearable it’s not even funny. Then by October it’s starting to get cooler out and atving becomes an outing with winter gear on, lol. Like I’ve said before, our summers are really not long.Summer comes when for you AJ? July ? Then winter in September? Lol. We need to move you about 1,000 miles south my friend.
Getting that atving itch as well..? Wife and I are seriously considering buying a used snowmobile after the KQ is paid off. Something else to help pass the time during the our long winter months. Plus I also deal with seasonal depression which doesn’t help. So come January I’ve had just about enough of winter and just want it to end.I'm Feeling Your Pain AJ!!
