Hey, I was looking at CDI's for my 1990 Quadrunner 250 LT-4WD. Part number appears to be 32900-19B10, replaced by 32900-19B20. Looking around, very few options, all around $200. On the other hand, the King Quad CDI (32900-19B30) appears visually to be exactly the same, and I can get one of those from china for less than $50.

Can anyone advise if the 32900-19B30 and 32900-19B20/10 CDI units are interchangeable? I'm wondering if being a 300cc opposed to 250cc requires that the 32900-19B30 CDI has different guts? I might just order one and try it, but I thought I'd see if anyone knew.

Not sure what the real difference is.

I have both a KQ300 and QR250 so I've used kingquad and quadrunner electronics to test each other when something goes wrong. They seem to run the same with either stock cdi. China cdi not too sure...
