I recently bought a new 2017 King Quad 400 ASi, and I am interested in putting better tires and wheels/rims on it. As I understand, the stock tire for the front is 25X8X12 with a 6" wide wheel/rim with a 4.5+1.5 offset, and the stock tire for the rear is a 25X10X12 with a 7.5" wide wheel/rim, and the offset is either 3.5+4 or 3+4.5. I cannot seem to find a confirmation on the exact stock rear offset, can anyone confirm that? Also, is it true that for straight axle quads, you have to have a negative offset? If so, would a 2+5 offset work or do I need a 3+4? I appreciate any help.
