So I have checked this site for info, and there is alot. Been having trouble with my 07 Eiger. Idles fine, warms up and can open the choke. But as soon as I give it throttle, wants to die out, either it is not getting enough fuel, or is being flooded out. After reading through alot of the info here, I went down the list, replaced the carb, still same issue, so not the carb, checked the issue about magnets coming off, nothing there, plenty of spark, new battery (old one was charged, but only 34% healthy. Cleaned the fuel tank and fresh clean fuel, it did sit awhile. Last item was fuel petcock, waiting on the new one to arrive.
Something I seem to not be able to determine is , what model do I have? There seems to be 2 LTA400F and LT F400F. Some parts are different, IE one seems to have a vacum line from the carb to the petcock, one does not. I dont think mine had one, ran fine before it sat. Then I find a random line running from the rear brake up the frame, to nothing???? Very weird
