That is the rev limiter. The idiot light might be bad.
2005 kingquad 700 low range isssue
So the atv runs great however when I put it in low range it doesn’t show the L on the dash. Also when I punch the throttle in low it spudders . If I use the override button it does fine is their a solution to this issue ?

So maybe I’m being a bonehead. But when the bike is cold in low it shows L on the dash and don’t need the override button. But once it’s warm it won’t show L and I have to use the override button is that not odd?That is the rev limiter. The idiot light might be bad.
