I've been searching for an answer around the net but have yet to found what I'm looking for. 2000 Quadrunner LT-F160, for this model the manual shows two different carburetors. The P33 (MIKUNI BS26SS) is what I have, the quad will start under choke and idle but when attempting to throttle up it has to power. I can run up the hill but cant give it enough throttle to do it well...
This carb has an adjustment for idle speed. The pilot screw is "pre-set" per the manual, and . The P33 (part number 13200-02C10) is unavailable. Amazon and some places list the P3/P28 version (part 13200-02C03) as an alternate, but the bore of this unit is much smaller. Yet somehow the tube from the air filter and the connection to the head are the same part number. I've had the carb apart and cleaned the ports & jets, but still unable to get power from it. The pilot screw is not accessible, it sits behind a plug which maybe I could remove but I was hoping to see had anyone with the same carb unavailability issues found a replacement?

New Fuel
Clean airfilter
float & needle appear fine
Soaked and cleaned throughout, then blown through each port with carb cleaner.

You may want to research this but you could possibly drill the main jet out slightly?
I have heard of people doing this.

If you want to drill jets either spend heap on a set of jet drills or if your a bit agricultural you could give the jet a wee nudge with some tip reamers (used to clean tips on oxy /acet gas plant)

I believe the P33 carb is the California CARB (CA Air Resource Board) compliant carb. I have the same one. Are you in CA? Unfortunetly I am... the P33 is absolute trash. I have been contemplating the P3 carb, making the purchase of a used one from Fleabay but havent pulled the trigger. My issues are the decel with the carb, it holds high RPM and is finicky when you want it to slow down. Not a prob for me, but the kids ride the bike the most. I havent been able to find a rebuild kit or parts either, even All Balls doesnt make one. When I called them they laughed and told me good luck. Currently, my 160 is side lined for a complete top end gasket replacement. Going to give the P33 one more go through and chance before I throw it in the trash. At this point a china carb will probably work better.
Had to swap to the P3/P28. This requires changing a few extras but it works, although the bike takes a few minutes to settle in and run ok. The choke doesnt seem to work too well.
