Hi All,

Just purchased a '20 750 yesterday and left with the 27x9 & 27x11x14 Mud Lite 2's I planned for but they didn't have a wheel in stock that worked for me and to be honest, I'm still unsure of the which offset to go with, a 5+2 or a 4+3? I understand that the tires being 1" wider will add 1" total width to the bike on a stock 5+2 square setup, but I'm looking for any pictures anybody might have to help me make the decision? Real concern here is that trail heads around me are right at 50" and as much as I want a wider stance, I don't want to get it mounted up and then find out the hard way that it's just a little too wide:oops: I'm going to head outside with a tape measure and do some investigating, but thought I'd ask if anyone had some pic's/measurement's of their setup and information on the offset. Also picked up a '20 500 SE for the wife yesterday and tried to find specs for rear wheel but could only come up with the front (5+2) and think the back looks maybe like a 4+3? Thanks all for any help!

I was wondering the same thing. The front and rear do look like they have a large offset difference. Anyone know what the stock offset for the front and rear is by any chance?

Should be a offset of:

Front: 5+2
Rear: 5+2

It is represented in the service manual as 5+2 and 5-2. You have to remember that the stock rim widths are different as well. 7 1/2" rear and 6" frnt. If you go with aftermarket rims, you will only be able to get the 7" rims with 5+2 for all 4. I ran about 500 miles with the stock setup before changing rims and tires and, other than noticing a huge improvement with different rubber, there was no difference with the same rim width and offset all the way around.

So just for a couple reference pictures .... I have 7"x12" rims with a 5+2 offset all the way around. The tires are 26"x11" rear and 26"x9" front and I get 48" width in the front and in the rear.

All tires are different though ...... all 11", 10" and 9", 8" wide tires will not all be the same width nor will they all be the same height. These 26"x11" were a little more than 1 " wider than the stocks, but were not any taller at all.
