1999 suzuki king quad 300 weird fuel issue

I have a customers 99 king quad 300. Rebuilt the carb, replaced the intake and air box boots/seals, new air filter, new petcock and fuel pump, etc. runs great for about 15 mins and falls on its face. I’m sick of throwing parts at this thing and am lost. If you refill the fuel tank with the little gas it burned up it will start and run fine again for a bit until it falls on its face. I’m lost, any suggestions?

Not sure if it's your problem. But the ignition coil will act like this when bad. It gets hot after sitting and breaks down

I don’t think it’s that because if you top off the tank it runs fine again until it burns a little bit of fuel
Can you ohm test the cdi?
I changed the plug and fuel cap and it seems to be running much better.

Welcome to the forum. If it starts acting up again, try gravity feeding the fuel into the carb by hanging a container of fuel (carefully and safely) above the machine.

I am wondering if you had a fuel delivery problem.
Sounds like the tank vent is plugged.
