1988 Suzuki Quadrunner 250

I have a 1988 quadrunner 250 2wd. Bought it and drove it around guys house and ran great. I got it home and it started bogging down and would only idle for a few minutes while the bowl had gas in it. I bought a new carburetor and that didn't fix the issue so I bought a new fuel pump and gas petcock. It's sending gas from the petcock to the fuel pump but it's not sending gas to the card from the pump itself. Please help.
