Start by adjusting the clutch as TBR suggested. If that doesn’t solve the issue, then the clutch is most likely toast and you’ll need to replace it.

Hey guys,

Right so I took it for a wee ride today after adjusting the clutch the problem is still there. If i tap the throttle after downshifting it doesn't seem to do it all though this is not very ideal.

Also once it is in a low gear and engine braking down a hill it will hold 100% fine until you touch the gearshift lever again. Im thinking that maybe the clutch release mech is sticking?

The other thing i noticed is that the lever has very little spring tension to return it to its center position after depressing the lever down. It spring back very freely and easily when lifting the lever and changing up a gear. Is sthi normal?

I think I will take the bike into work this week and pull the clutch out and inspect. is this doable with the engine still in the frame?

Last question is does anyone know where I can buy parts for the bike in New Zealand?

Cheers
