06 King Quad issue. ECM / Electrical issue?

Hi guys,
I have a 06 King Quad 700 with 800 miles, original owner. Recently been having issues with it cutting off like a kill switch when I turn on the lights or cooling fan is engaged at idle. All these issues only happen at idle, not with throttle and cuts off like a kill switch, screen stays on with no issue or warning lights. It starts right back up after it cuts off.

It's at the dealer now. Has a new battery. Voltage regulator is 1 year old and tested and fine. The stator is fine and the machine is pushing 14 volts at idle.

Dealer told me all tests with voltage and battery is fine and the only thing they suggest is replacing the ECM . It has the original ECM (01), the one that draws when it's off and kills batteries , I always take the positive off during long storage to stop this.

My Question: Anyone ever had this issue and do you think spending $$ on new ECM is the proper thing to do. Or is there other routes or things to check?

Thanks

It was a ground issue. All the grounds were cleaned on the machine , the black/white wire off the battery, its white connector was corroded.

Reading past posts on here led to that discovery in the issue.

Thanks,
Ed
