Wish i would've never bought a eiger!

Will my 2005 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 run without the TPS sensor? And also, I ordered a carburetor that is the same size 32mm as the factory one that came on the Eiger, but it was about $460 cheaper because it had no TPS sensor. Fuel, air, and spark (fire) was what I was taught all an engine needs to run. Correct?

Trying to rework the way something was designed to work with is probably not the best solution or idea. Trying to remove the throttle positioning sensor from the equation is probably part of your problem. You are correct in that an engine needs fuel, air, and spark to fire/run. But there are various things to take into consideration. Like timing, a good clean properly adjusted carb, clean air filter, possible vacuum leak, a good battery, and whatever sensor(s) the quad came with. Any number of these things can affect your Atv starting or running properly.

I don't believe it has a TPS on the carb. I have a 2005 Eiger 400 4x4 and it has no electric hook-ups on the carb. Do you mean the Vacuum line that goes from the carb to the petcock?
