fuel leak

I have a 2013 king quad 500. The battery wouldn't start the quad after cranking for 30sec or so I stopped and at that point I could smell fuel leaking. Does anyone know why I would have fuel leaking?

If you just smell fuel but there is no visible leak, then it probably is un-burnt fuel from the exhaust or vent system.

However, you should inspect for an actual leak first.
