2000 Quadmaster 500 Carb (Air Vent pipe)

Hey all,
My dad and I salvaged a smashed up quad runner. Runs good but we are having an issue figuring out where the carb air vent pipe is suppose to be bolted to (gone on our rebuild) It is part number 44 In the parts diagram that I attached to the thread. Pictures of where yours is bolted on would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

On the 300 KQs it just goes up under the shift levers above the tank.....hooked to nothing.
