Suzuki LT80 wont rev up

06 LT80 Brand new carb...runs on choke but dies when you hit the throttle. will not start unless the choke is on. hit the gas and then it dies... new battery fresh fuel. any ideas?

Also checked the compression and it’s just shy of 50psi. Should be above 100psi I’d assume. It also doesn’t hold the pressure on the the gauge like it usually does it just drops back to zero after I stock cranking.

During your compression test, did you hold the throttle wide open while cranking the engine over..?

Clean the carb and install a carb kit. Sounds like one of the jets are plugged up.

Comp testers have a check valve. The gauge should not go down. Get a working gauge and check again.
Under 90 and it's time for a bore.
