I have the same question there.

I was given a 96 last week for free..been sitting for 4 yrs and didn't run at all. Long story short...carb cleaned, new air filter and fired right up.

Tires are showing no lugs at all in the center and need tires too. But can't seem to find the stock tire sizing in a set without mix/matching. What options are out there.

Got the axles pulled for new boots and waiting for service manual to arrive and redo the brakes and it should be good to go.

Ok the stock front is 22x8-10

There is not much to choose from here. Will a 22x7-10 still fit the stock rim or how about the 22x9-10.

I NEED HELP, thanks

If your stock tire reads 22x8-10 and you'd like to put a 22x7-10, or a 22x9-10, you should be alright. (Assuming this is the front tire we are talking about) Only thing is if you put the 22x7-10 on, the tire width is just a tad smaller but the rim size is the same. And if you put the 22x9-10, the width is a tad bigger but again the rim size is the same. Only thing is the wider you go, you'll need to be careful the tire doesn't hit the steering knuckle etc. But with one size up you should be ok. I have a 11" rim on my ltf300f and my stock tire size was 24x8-11, and i went to a 24x9-11 without any hitch-up. Hope this helps.

Ironjeepchef, After looking online i was able to find a few sites for you to look at for tires. To answer your question, no you don't have to go with the stock sizes. You should be able to increase your rear wheel size from a 25 to a 26 and however wide you'd like to go. As long as you can find the ones to match your rim size. The front might be a bit different however.

If you make the rear wheel bigger you should make the front just a bit bigger as well. Example: (Rear-26x12x10 - Front-23x9x10) I am assuming your atv has the front locking differential option..? I've been told by a few people that if you use the same tire size all around you can get some binding. Thus the reason for the different tire sizes on the atv.

I use Kenda Bear Claws on my atv. Tire size: (Rear-25x10x12 - Front-24x9x11) I like the Bear Claws myself. I would go a bit bigger in the back next time though. Anyways, here are a few links for you to look at for atv tires. Hope this helps.
