Default 02' SUZUKI EIGER 400 QUADMATIC - 2wd.

I have a 02' Eiger & would like to know, the choke lever on the left side of handlebars you would think would push up to choke, but the arrow on the lever points down. Which is the correct position for choke? Also it has a idle adjustment cable with a thumb screw knob on the end, positioned on the left side of the motor right above the pull start. Is there a secret adjustment as standard - such as close then back off 2 turns etc? This ATV idles high which makes it very tough to get in & out of gear. Also does anyone know of a good source to buy a service manual without having to go thru the Suzuki dealership? Thanks

To reply to your question about the choke lever. I have a 2000 Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4with that same choke configuration. You push it down to apply some choke and push it up to turn off the choke. And I also knew a guy that had a 93 Suzuki Quadrunner with that same choke configuration also. I am pretty sure that is the way Suzuki designed them. Hope that helped regarding the choke lever.
