I have a 2008 king quad 450 and the cvt has been taking on water. I know this because when i go through water no matter how high the belt slips after a while and i pull the drain plug and a lot of water comes out. i have a warranty on this and brought it in and they dont see a problem but they dont take it in water. any ideas whet this could be? i really need the help. thanx
If you think it is leaking in around the belt case, then definitely take it back to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty. Maybe find a dealer that can find the problem. If it's still under warranty, make Suzuki fix it.
So its the rear vent on the cvt case. That's good now that i know but you know what the dealer told me? They told me to get a stealth snorkel kit but if i take it to another shop make sure i take it off before or else ill void the warranty. Why don't they they just fix the problem? I couldn't help but laugh.
Sounds like the same as my local dealer. They are about useless for anything after the sale.
