lt50 won't fire

Please help I have a mid 80's lt50 and I can't get it to fire! I tried a new plug I've even went as far as downloading a manual and re-wiring it. Completely removed the tether switch at the back of the machine. I checked the magneto and it is good it had 125ohms to ground the coil is the thing I'm a little concerned about.

Please help!!

Not sure what the problem could be, but I'm just tossing this out there - you know the parking brake has to be set in order for the LT50 to turn over, right? If it's not set and locked, it'll never start! Learned that one the hard way...

Have you checked the carb? When I bought our LT50 the carb was all gummed up and needed a good cleaning, and then it fired right up.
