polaris sportsman 800 vs. grizzly 550
Which one is the better ATV? Which one will last longer? Seems like polaris' transmission wasn't thought out well and it goes through belts. Grizzly seems great but it has less power than the 800. I know the grizzly comes in a 700 but I see dollar signs. Which would you rather have? Going to be one or the other. Help me decide

I looked at a Polaris 800. Rode real nice. My favorite thing about it was that Speedwerx made a true dual exhaust for it that had the rumble of a Harley. But I got a Suzuki for a steal and I couldn't be happier. Saved my close to $4k with all the accessories it came with.

I have a 08 800 touring and I will say the grizzly is dependable but I would take my 800 over it. With the belts you just need to no how to drive one. when the sportsman is at idle you have to put it in park or neutral and give it 3 good revs and it will let the belt spin free you do that your belt will last alot longer.
my 800 has 7900 miles of gating its ass beat and she keeps tick-in I broke a frame jumped her really high but polaris paid for it besides that shes been good. If you could get a 550xp over the 800 I would because its a smother bike and better mpg and 4x4 works better dont need the yellow button in revers and its geared better
