The 2005 manual states 3.2 without changing the filter and 3.4 with a filter change. Always check the oil level by just touching the threads with the filler cap and don't screw it in to check. Hope this helps. Tacomaj1 in Tennessee

More info from first hand experience with my 2005 eiger. If I fill my Eiger to the capacity's shown in the manual the dipstick will only show less than 1/2 full on the dipstick. Do not try to fill to the full line as you will put to much oil in the engine. Only put in the book capacity. 3.2 qts without a filter change and 3.4 with the filter change. 3.4 qts is 3 qts and 12 ozs. 3.2 qts is 3 qts and 6 ozs.

Also I notice that when I screw my dipstick in all the way and screw it right back out the oil level on the dipstick is right on full at the amount I show above.
