New quad - Suzuki 400 King Quad with EFI - what do you think?

Got what I feel is a good quote on a new 2011 King Quad with EFI.

This one is black with auto tranny.

I am between this and a Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O. (also 2011).

I really am leaning towards the Zuke due to it's slightly smaller size (I am a big guy but don't want a tank of a bike) and it's reputation for quality.

The 2011 looks plain mean and I actually love the black.

What do you guys think about this platform and should I be shopping for something else? I am mainly a hunter and occasionally like a good morning ride of 2-3 hours, not to mention scouting between hunting seasons. I really don't mud bog or ride rocky terrain, I just need a good, reliable quad with a good size and decent power.

Thoughts? Input? Much appreciated!

Definitely get the quad I have a 2009 750AXi and it is simply amazing, plus with what you do with your I am sure the locking Differential will come in handy with pulling deer out or anything you may come across. I would rather have something I don't need than need it and not have it. And like you said the quality is definitely there I have a 1997 300 KQ and it still does wonderfully.

Any king is a Good King..If you need the straight axle go for it..Not sure if the 400 has Diff lock . But if not its a feature that will pay for its self in no time..

Having some problems with rear drum brake noise on stopping but I'll get it figured out. She rides nice! Very torquey.

When are you getting the noise, is it when you use the back brakes to stop and then it makes a noise when you take off? If that is the case that is normal it takes a second for them to disengage and engage the clutch.

No, it's just when I stop completely, light right at the end of the stop. I am going to try and tweak the adjustments a little. I may have done something wrong one way or the other.

Yeah you kind of get a little chatter when you stop completely when getting on the brake? If so mine does that as well.
Nice KQ also I forgot to mention that.

Thanks! I'll keep a watch on it and if it doesn't improve or gets worse I'll run it back to the dealer. Thank goodness for warranty!

It works, it just sounds bad. I'd probably say a little more than chatter or squeaking, more of a moan.
